Taglie e Geometrie
Trova la tua taglia
Se sei a cavallo tra due misure consigliate, la cosa migliore sarebbe quella di provarle entrambe. Ma la prima cosa da fare è di controllare le misure di stack/reach della tua bici attuale e confrontale con quelle del nuovo modello che stai valutando. Questo ti permette di avere un'idea della misura che ti si avvicina di più. Se non hai la possibilità di provare la bici, considera quanto segue.
Una taglia più grande della bicicletta molto spesso trasmette al biker maggiore stabilità offrendo più spazio per i movimenti senza compromettere l'equilibrio della bicicletta. Questa sensazione di maggiore stabilità e sicurezza deriva dal posizionamento della ruota anteriore che si troverà più avanti rispetto a te. Questo aspetto richiederà però movimenti del corpo più significativi quando vorrai spostare il baricentro della bicicletta. Al contrario, optando per una taglia più piccola diminuirà quella sensazione di stabilità a vantaggio di una maggiore maneggevolezza ed agilità. Pensa bene al tuo stile di guida e a quanto desideri che sia attivo/intuitivo rispetto a stabile e veloce e ricorda che per manovrare una bicicletta più "abbondante" richiede sempre maggior impegno.
Non siamo tutti uguali ed anche tutte le persone di una determinata altezza non sono tutte uguali. Se hai gambe più lunghe e un busto più corto rispetto alla media delle persone della tua altezza, potresti dover optare per una taglia più piccola tra quelle consigliate. Se invece hai un busto e delle braccia piuttosto lunghi, probabilmente dovrai scegliere una taglia più grande.
