Axles and Linkage

All of the axles and linkage parts are easily replaceable in our VPP™ bikes, and we only use a few sizes of them across the whole range—so spares are easy to find. For every model, you can replace individual parts or get a ProPack that features all of the axles and covers.

Easy to Service

No matter how much time you've spent dialing in your suspension, it will never be perfect if the bearings aren't moving freely. But with a bit of care, and minor elbow grease, you'll be running on buttery-smooth bearings every ride. While the process is simple, we realize that life gets in the way sometimes, and these critical little spinny bits can get overlooked—so we also made it super simple to push out the worn bearings and replace them with new ones when the time comes.

Zerk Grease Ports

All the bearings on our bikes are famously well-protected from the elements—the sealed bearings have additional covers, and they all sit in a cozy grease bath. All VPP™ bikes also utilize single-sided bearings in the lower link, so when it's time for a service, squeeze in some fresh grease via the Zerk-fitting grease port, and out comes the dirty grease. We make it super easy because we believe your bike should last a lifetime through easy maintenance.

Easy To Do It Yourself

Servicing your linkage components is super easy. In fact, the whole linkage can be taken apart in minutes using nothing more than a multitool. No really, even members of our marketing team can do it with one eye closed (if we hide the sharp tools from them). All the how-tos are on our site and all the spare parts you'll ever need are available on our webstore. We make our bikes easy to work on because they often endure a harsh life of dirty, dusty, and wet rides.

Built To Last

Bikes aren't throwaway items, but riders certainly throw them around. Our bikes are made to last many lifetimes of abuse. Why scrap a frame when a simple bearing service can make one last a lifetime? That's our stance on sustainability at least, and it's why our carbon fiber doesn’t just mean lighter, it means tough as hell backed up by a lifetime warranty and crash replacement support.

The Very Best Wheels

A bike only rides as well as the wheels it rolls on. That’s why we build all of the wheels we put on our bikes, ourselves. Yes, we make all of our wheels in-house. We select only the most quality j-bend spokes, nipples, hubs and rims from trusted brands, and then lace, tension and finish them to our own standards. That means a bike rides right from day one. And when it’s time to replace a spoke, you can go into any bike shop to get that spare spoke or nipple. No proprietary nonsense that would otherwise make a wheelset a hassle to keep spinning or a throwaway item.
