In 2014 five friends from Lac-Beauport got together and created LB-Cycle with the mission of bringing people together to build trails and maintain existing ones in the area. This year, PayDirt will fund a new double-diamond trail called Rubber Eater. The Land Trust of Santa Cruz County is dedicated to protecting and caring for working lands, like farms, timberland, and natural areas with high conservation value – thus protecting water supplies, wildlife habitats, and open space.

Their San Vicente Redwoods project is a newly created open space preserve that will eventually be home to more than 38 miles of mountain bike-accessible trails that run from the Pacific Ocean to the crest of the Santa Cruz mountain range. With the help of Santa Cruz Bicycles and PayDirt, as well as their local trail organization Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz, the park is slated to open to the public in 2021. Whistler Off Road Cycling Association (WORCA) works hard every year to sanction events that bring the mountain biking community together, foster the evolution of the sport through youth programs, and employ experienced trail builders and staff to construct, maintain, and advocate for Whistler’s mountain bike trails.

The Cypress Mountain Bike Club, is an after school organization at Cypress Charter High, an alternative education high school in Santa Cruz. Their main goals are to get students out on bicycles safely, teach bicycle maintenance, educate the students on trail etiquette, expose them to different jobs in the cycling industry, and provide them with a new way to appreciate the beautiful environment we live in.

The Club received bikes through the PayDirt program for use by the students to understand and appreciate their surrounding environment, take on personal responsibility, and build community.

PayDirt funds will be used to grow their NorCal Teen Trail Corp program, to create DEI (Diversity, Equality, Inclusion) education tools for their coaches, and to expand their GRiT [Girls Riding Together] program to include ten female ambassadors from diverse geographic regions who represent diverse racial identity and diverse body types. The Alternative Mountain Biking Association of La Grave (Association de Vélo Alternatif de la Grave) was founded in 2011 to develop mountain biking in the area of La Grave La Meije. Currently, the area features over 30 miles of trails that are fully dedicated to mountain biking and entirely built by hand by the local trail builders of the group.

PayDirt is funding the groups 2 year project, Vallons de La Meije to La Grave, a 5 mile trail that will start at the top of the mountain at at Col des Ruillans and go down through the Vallons de La Meije all the way to the footstep of the mythical glacier of La Meije. La fondation Grow Cycling a été créée pour apporter de nouvelles opportunités aux personnes issues des minorités et leur permettre de développer une carrière dans l'industrie du cycle. Le but est aussi de renforcer les programmes existants et casser les barrières qui s'opposent à l'inclusion des communautés marginalisées dans le monde du vélo.

Les subventions PayDirt vont permettre de lancer la phase une du projet de Grow Cycling qui consiste à la création d'un pumptrack, qui servira de point de rencontre dans ces quartiers désavantagés et de point d'entrée à la pratique du vélo. Il s'agit d'un projet sur le long-terme et la fondation Grow Cycling cherche aussi à développer un meilleur accès à l'éducation et à de nouvelles opportunités pour casser les barrières qui s'opposent à l'inclusion des communautés marginalisées dans le monde du vélo. Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance was founded by a group of dedicated riders with the purpose of building and advocating for more miles of off-road trails. Today, CORA maintains 100 miles of multi-use natural surface trails for mountain bikers, hikers and trail runners.

Moab Trail Mix (officially known as the Grand County Trails) partners with local land managers to design, build, and maintain trails around Moab, Utah.

Moab Trail Mix is funneling their PayDirt funds towards constructing phase two of the new Raptor Route, which will create 9 miles of new singletrack with a stunning view over canyon country. The Tweed Valley Trails Association (TVTA) is a Scottish based organization which was set up to develop a culture of responsible trail use and management within the local mountain biking community.

TVTA will be using their PayDirt grant to renovate and improve the Reservoir climb, which gives access to the majority of the Golfy trails in the area, and will be a huge benefit not only to the riding community, but also to walkers and equestrians. They will also be subsidizing the cost for 8 trail builders to complete a Trail Inspection and Volunteer management course so that they can then train more volunteers to get more trail work done in the correct and most efficient way. Northwest North Carolina Mountain Bike Alliance (The Alliance) promotes land access, trail preservation, and new trail development on federal, state, and local lands for the communities of Boone, Hickory, Lenoir, Marion, Morganton, and Wilkesboro.

Together with PayDirt and the US Forest Service, The Alliance will be renovating the popular Yancey Ridge Trail in the up and coming Grandfather District of Pisgah National Forest. Yancey’s length is only 4.8 miles, but it is also part of a 13-mile backcountry loop that includes a scenic section of the North Carolina Mountains-to-Sea Trail, and is perhaps one of the most challenging trails in the region. Enduro Jura est né dans l'idée d'organiser des compétitions d'enduro au sein de la communauté locale. Puis, petit à petit, de nombreuses personnes ont rejoint l'association et le travail d'entretien nécessaire n'a fait qu'augmenter au rythme de la motivation des membres.

Le projet principal reste de baliser et entretenir le réseau de chemins existants pour assurer une pratique libre et sûre pour tous, en s'assurant toujours que chaque membre puisse avoir un outil dans une main et une bière dans l'autre.
