Frame Sizing
The Skitch uses S-XXL sizing instead of traditional CM sizing (54, 56 etc.) as the dimensions are vastly different from traditional frames. The Reach/Effective Top Tube Lengths are much longer than typical road or gravel bikes to pair with a short stem. To get a general understanding of how the Skitch will fit, you can look at the Reach+Stem length and compare it to your current bike. As with any bike, stem length can be used to fine-tune the fit, but dropbar Skitch comes with a 70mm stem while the flatbar versions come with an 80mm.
Body Dimension
If you're on the cusp between the recommended height range of two sizes it's best to try to ride them both. If riding the bike is not an option consider that not all bodies at a given height are the same. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso than the average person your height, that may push you towards the smaller of the recommended sizes. If you're all torso and arms, most likely you'll want to size up.
Flat Bar Fit
Consider how you are planning to use the bike when deciding on frame size (if you're not able to ride them). If you plan to use the bike for longer, more sporting rides- err towards the larger size when in doubt. For more urban usage, you may prefer something a little shorter and more upright.
FAQ's
How big of a tire will fit?
The frame will clear a 700x50mm size tire.
Can I put a dropper on my bike?
Yes! We've included options for routing internally-routed dropper posts on the Skitch. Just make sure you order a 27.2mm post.
Does the Skitch work with fenders?
Yes. We designed it to work with up to 700x45mm while using fenders. Tires and fenders vary greatly, so treat these numbers as guidelines, not gospel.
Is there a battery range extender?
Fazua plans to launch the battery range extender in 2024. The range extender mount will install to the DT water bottle bosses and connect directly to the Fazua drive unit. The range extender mount can hold either the range extender battery, or a water bottle.
How many bottle cages will fit?
The Skitch will hold two bottle cages without the range extender battery installed.
Does the Skitch have a throttle?
There is no throttle. The Skitch is pedal assist only.
What is the max pedal assisted speed?
In the US, the Skitch is considered a Class 3 ebike with a 28mph max speed.
In Canada, the Skitch max speed is 32kph.
What cranks will fit on Fazua Ride 60 motors?
Bikes Fazua Ride 60 uses cranks with the ETOR spindle interface. frames include the custom seatstay mount that we designed, as there is no traditional seatstay bridge on the Stigmata. Other than that, you should only need the hardware that comes with your fenders.
Is there a Fazua App?
Yes, you can download and learn more about it on Fazua's website.
What does the Fazua App do?
The FAZUA App connects to your bike via Bluetooth, and allows you to view live riding data (I.E. power output, & battery percentate of charge). You're also able to select different assist modes, download new riding profiles, and update your Fazua system's firmware.
Is the Fazua app required?
No, your bike is pre-programmed and ready to ride straight from the factory.
Can my Garmin head unit display Fazua information?

How do I update my Fazua Ride 60 Firmware?
Fazua firmware updates can be installed via the Fazua phone app, or at your local Santa Cruz Bicycles dealer.
Can I remove the battery from the bike to charge it?
The Fazua Ride 60 battery on the Skitch is designed to be charged while inside the frame, and only removed for service.
Can I power a headlight and tail light from the Fazua Ride 60 battery?
Yes you can, you will need lights with the Fazua style power cord and a dealer can help get them installed.
Can I power my phone, Garmin, light or other device from the USB-C port on the LED Hub?

Can I use a suspension fork on the Skitch?
The Skitch is suspension-corrected for a 40mm gravel fork like the Rockshox Rudy or Fox Tapercast. However, neither of these forks are rated for a Class 3 (28mph) ebike. Since the Skitch is Class 1 in markets other than the US (such as Canada), these forks could be installed on those bikes. Otherwise you'd need to lower the speed limit of the bike to 32kph/20mph to stay within the fork-manufacturers' ratings.
Can I mount a rack to the Skitch?
The Skitch does not have rack mounts, so we would recommend a rack that uses the wheel axle to fit a rack. Old Man Mountain makes some options that will work.
