The 2019 Trans-Provence

The original rally-style mountain bike race is back with a vengeance for this, the 10th and final edition, of the Trans-Provence.

Organizer Ash Smith first made his vision a reality in 2009 and since then the race has grown to include 24 unique stages stretched across 269km. Riders started day one in the High Alps and over the course of the next six days they ripped gravity-fueled singletrack along bluffs, knife edges, and mountain shoulders. It all ended with a party on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.

Daily Recaps and Photos from the Race

Along with a contingent of Santa Cruz and Juliana riders, Santa Cruz’s own world-traveling lens-slinger Gary Perkin was on the ground and in the mix all week at the 2019 Trans-Provence.
