It wasn't more than a few weeks ago that a few members of our crew set off to help put the finishing touches on the course for the Trans-Cascadia. The race spans four days of racing across primitive Pacific Northwest singletrack and it's all part of the Trans-Cascadia's (read more about the non-profit on their site) mission to promote and build sustainable trails in the PNW. Days stretch from six to eight hours and this year there's around 4,000 feet of vertical to climb and, like any good rip through the woods, each ride is followed by a party each night.
