The Teams Take on Shasta Lemurian and Port Angeles Pro GRT

The truck's returned and the mud's gotten cleaned off the bikes, and we're happy to report that the Santa Cruz Factory Racing Team had a successful weekend. From our man on the ground, Patrick Rosso:

The Santa Cruz Factory Racing Team was roosting and boosting across the West Coast over the weekend.

Coffee. Bacon. Eggs.

Scott Chapin, Kyle Harder, and Joe Doty headed to Redding, CA, for the 28th Annual Lemurian Shasta Classic. With steep, grueling climbs, chilly temperatures, and rugged descents, the 26 mile cross-country “long course,” posed quite the challenge for the team and their bikes.

The boys, however, rose to the occasion with Joe taking second in the Men's Single Speed category, followed by Scott placing fifth in the Pro Men’s category, and Kyle with a comfortable ninth place in the Men’s Expert category.

Further north, Free Agents Kiran MacKinnon and Sean Bell, and Factory Racers Bo MacArthur and Allan Cooke were throwing it down amongst wet roots and hero dirt in Port Angeles, WA, for the first round of the ProGRT / NW Cup downhill. Read the full report from that race here.

A special thanks to Verve Coffee Roasters and El Salchichero for keeping our racers fed and caffeinated!
