Factory Racing Digs Oakridge with Trans-Cascadia; Teams Up On Ten For Trails

Our Factory Racing team recently made a bit of a pilgrimage to Oakridge, Oregon to spend a few days building trails, riding, and camping with the Trans-Cascadia crew. This was our second trail-building trip with Trans-Cascadia this year (you can see a video about the first trip here), and we couldn't be more excited for the race itself (next week!). The real story of Trans-Cascadia, though, is their commitment to developing the trail network the race is held on, and making sure those trails are built well so they can be enjoyed by more than just the racers. This year, they've created Ten For Trails, a global raffle where the winner will walk away with his or her choice of a custom-painted Santa Cruz Bronson, Hightower, or Nomad, built with the finest of parts from Shimano, Chris King, PUSH Industries, and ENVE. On top of that, Trans-Cascadia will donate 10% of the raffle's proceeds to a trail advocacy organization of the winner's choice. Best of all? Ten For Trails is open to entrants around the world, so whether you're down the street in Santa Cruz, or halfway around the world in Australia, you have a chance to win a great prize by funding new trails. Head over to Trans-Cascadia's website to see all the shiny details and enter to win!

After the first trip to the PNW this spring, everyone came back raving about the beautiful landscapes and rad trails, so when this summer's trip rolled around, the man behind the custom graphics, Dusty Bermshot, jumped behind the lens to document what Oakridge is all about. Scroll on for a little taste of what makes this region so special, and watch for coverage of the Trans-Cascadia on Pinkbike next weekend.
