Santa Cruz Bicycles is located at 104 Bronson Street, #22, Santa Cruz, CA, in a very large gray and blue building that started life in 1914 as The Pacific Coast Fruit and Olive Canning Company. Nowadays there’s a climbing gym, a skateboard company, a couple bakeries, a sail maker, a surfboard shaper, a bike company, a handful of artists and some people who sell wool stuff and hipster uniforms, all occupying various parts of the Big Tin Shed. 95062 is the zip code if you want all the details. Oh, and the phone number is 831-459-7560. But that only works for the Santa Cruz Bikes part of this place. You want vegan scones or trucker hats, you gotta call some other number.

Hey SCB @ 104 Bronson,
The Stigamata typo is crazy. I’ve been a designer/art director since 1990 and seen some things but that takes it
It’s cool you own up to it the Blog. BTW I’m on my 3rd Santa Cruz frame now, A BLT 2 and I totally love it!!!!!
You guys rock!

I used to work in magazineland a lifetime ago. Typos happened. We would always consider ritual suicide when it did happen, but for the most part our magazine did okay. Unlike our “sister” (and I mean that in almost every sense of the word) publication, who ran their “Explorations” issue with that word in huge letters across the cover. Only problem was, they left out the “r”. “Exploations” – sweet. That one cost a bit to fix.
S/C bikes, You guys make SWEET BIKES!!!! Keep up the GREAT WORK!!! I have two complete S/C bikes in the stable- 2010 BlurLT2, 2010 BlurLT2 c. Soon to be three with a S/C TallBoy coming this winter. Looking forward to riding the TB. P.S Could you guys please offer your clothes in sizes XXL. So us bigger guys can show S/C support on and off the bike.
Yup, thanks for the great bikes! Bought my first heckler (the heckler x) in….? I think it was ‘98 or 99′? Rode the piss out of it for 6years on mostly the stock setup (Judy fork, Avid V-Brakes, Fox Van coil shock, etc…). Never had a single problem with the frame. 2005 came around; had some cash and….. bought another one! This time with the FR kit. I’m still on that one and she’s a beaut. Despite me weighing about 210lbs. now due to serial beer drinking, i’m shuttling downhill on the medium, hitting more stuff than ever (for me), and again not one complaint. Just a sweet, reliable, tough as nails ride. Cheers!
When did the SCB Company start?
1993. back in the day, allegedly…
I’ve been riding the hell out of my heckler, going on year two and i frigging love it.My ten year anniversary this year trying to talk wife into a blurlt2.
