2010 Teva Games Slopestyle – More Mountain Bike Videos
Exhibit A, the above gem from Spomer’s alter-life, Vitalmtb.com. Of note, Santa Cruz free agent Logan Peat sneaking a 4th overall in the Teva Mountan Games slopestyle competition AHEAD of Santa Cruz Syndicate’s lovable wall of muscle, Jamie Goldman. Not too shabby on either of their behalfs, and pretty damn cool to see Logan sneaking up into the big leagues.

While some might see it as a defeat to have Jill Kintner waving her big fat paycheck above everyone else's heads, we're stoked that Miranda ended up on the podum, and that both her legs appear to be the same length.
Exhibit B, above, the return of Miranda Miller, again. We don’t know too many people this side of Cam Zink who have done such a major job of tearing themselves up and bouncing back. Miranda is made from bear gristle or something, as proven by her 2nd place to Jill Kintner this past weekend at the Port Angeles NWCup race. Again, given this is about her first race back after trying to remove her leg below the knee last fall, not too shabby. Not too shabby at all.

Muchas gracias to Forrest Arakawa for the above pic of Mark Weir and Nathan Riddle showing off their procreative assets while Adam Craig and Jason Moeschler revel in their ability to still sleep soundly through the night.
And finally, Exhibit C, above. Alternatively, we could call this “some news from a guy we sponsor who never even bothers to call anymore.” But we’re bigger than that. Anyway, some guy who we used to write about on Wednesdays finally woke up from his slumber, got over his new dad blues, let go of the ashes of his burned down house, recovered from the whipping he was served in Pennsyltucky a week ago, and won the Ashland Super-D race on Saturday. In doing so, he managed to beat his Siamese twin, Jason Moeschler, by one second, and put the wood to a whole bunch of other well known fast guys. Eagle eyed observers who scrutinize things closely would also notice 3 Santa Cruz bikes in the top 5 men, and our own Demo tour Fembot, Abigail Hippely, holding down 5th spot in the Women’s field. Extra special bonus note seeing our product manager Josh “DNS” Kissner, closing out the local TV news segment on the race. Good to see his better half, Zea, did a more solid job of representing in her race category.
That’s a whole lot of gravity assisted ass-kickery on the part of people riding our bikes. Thanks to you all for being as rad as you are. Oh, yeah, over in Germany the Syndicate did some stuff too. But that’s their job, and they’re famous-ish already anyway, so we prefer to focus on the people “keepin’ it real” here in the gritty confines of 104bronson. Speaking of grit, stay tuned for Abby to weigh in tomorrow with some long overdue words about life in a van. I can smell it already.

Pardon my French, but Weir is such a bad a$$
