The above image was just poached from Syndicate rider, reigning World Champion, Rhys Ifans impersonator, and pride of Sheffield, Steve Peat’s twitter feed. The Syndicate lads, our engineers, the guy who owns our company, a Welshman, a couple spare South Africans, and various other members of an entourage that would make any rock star proud, are hunkered down in the final days before the season turns serious, in Lousa, Portugal, testing out the kinks in the new carbon fiber V-10. Apparently there was some friendly competition in testing today, with the result that the slowest one down the hill had to wear a dress to dinner. We think Minnaar went slow on purpose, because he looks absolutely smashing in that outfit, and we know for a fact that Peaty and young Josh Bryceland lack the civility (and in the case of Josh, a clean grasp of the Queen’s English) to pull off an outfit like that. As for Cedric, the gregarious sidekick to this whole gong show, well, we’re not so sure. He might be able to swing it, but he’d have to shave. It should also be noted that gems like this photo of Minnaar in a dress, or streams like this, might actually be changing my mind about our old friend twitter.

Wait! Did Someone say “new carbon fiber v-10?” Ohhh, that little thing…

Just don’t go asking us when it’s gonna ship, or what it’s gonna cost. Not yet, at least.
